Hello and Happy New School Year!

For the first day of class we are just getting our syllabus and learning how the class works. 

Here is the syllabus, 

 

all the quizzes (with one exception) will have twelve questions. Each question will be worth ten points, so you can miss 2 questions and still get a 100%. Tests will work the same way, but with more questions of course. Honors students will have simple and enjoyable essays along with their quizzes and tests. I also read every question aloud for every quiz and test.

You will need a binder for this class. I will give you question sheets and you simply answer the questions. Your binder should be broken down into sections: this is explained on the Welcome PowerPoint

Parents:

Your child should be studying every day. We have RIQs (Really Important Questions) that the students answer as we go through PowerPoints, readings and short videos. We will review at least every other day.
