Monday the 17th

Good Morning Young Scholars

Here we go, I am going to attempt to upload my introduction video for you. Also, we will have two PowerPoint presentations.

If you have toruble on this site try the Canvas website- I will attempt to have the assignments both places.

So this is what you should do today:

1) Watch the introductory video, laugh at its witty humor, go "Wow!" in the exciting parts, share it with your friends and family. Deconstruct it for the clever metaphors and deeper meanings.

     Or just watch it.

If there is no sound put your cursor over the bottom left, the mute/unmute button will appear.

2) Take the quiz on the PowerPoint, it's 20 questions. I do not expect you to get any of them right!!!! I am hoping to go over the quiz with you this Friday on our first Zoom meeting, hold on to your answers and we will take the quiz again in January and you can see how much you've learned.

3) Look at the Themes PowerPoint.

The themes are 12 things that happen over and over in history that we will see many times- think of when you watch a movie and you say "They just ripped off the story from that other movie."

The same thing happens in history.

You will see a Word document below, it has about a dozen questions for you to answer on the PowerPoint, all the answers come after the list of 12 themes. After you copy down the themes follow the list of questions for you to answer that is below. If you cannot print the question document just copy the questions.

When you are done, email me the one theme you think we will see the most in history.

4) Remember to email me with any questions!
